Well everyone I've been home for a week now since coming out of the ICU. After suffering a bad brain contussion from a fall at home two sundays ago I'm recovering well. Getting a little bit edgy just sitting at home though, not being able to go to the gym, watch too much tv or work on WeddingCompare.com as much as I'd liked to is driving me a little bit crazy!
As for the month of Movember it brings a fresh new challenge for me and some of my friends. One of my groomsmen, Richard (owner of CaptainCompare.com) and I will be competing Kenny vs Spenny style to determine at the end of the month who has the best mo. Photos will be posted of our progress as well as those of another one of our friends who is supporting the Chuck Norris style mo.
Rules were that we both had to start with a clean shaven face, only a mo (no goatie or beard) and that the winner would be decided by a poll of random people. The winner then gets to decide upon a humilation for the loser that they must undertake in front of them. You can support me in this quest by sponsoring me.

It's Friday October 27 and I am finally home from my emergency stay in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital since Sunday night!
I had a bad fall at home on Sunday night and suffered a serious brain contussion which left me on life support for 36 hours. I am still recovering naturally but am doing well, having been overwhelmed by the love and support of my fiance, family and friends.
This occurance has put everything into perspective for me and has made me realize just how lucky I am to be marrying someone as loving and caring as my fiance. She is amazing and I want the world to know that she is my everything and I love her more then I can put into words.

Everyone there is now a poll on the WeddingCompare.com Forum asking your opinion on Re-touching wedding photos and if you would do it. Personally I said that i would, but only the background if there was something in it that ruined a great shot.

The fiance and I are up late tonight having some drinks with my best man's girl (Marc is presently away serving in the Australian navy and is a real bad ass). We are here with Jack and discussing important life topics such as marriage, dogs and the vital core skills SPELLING AND PUNCTATION!
How many of you guys have typed something, then thought wait, that isn't right? But then typed it into word, did spellcheck and found it was right. Hope for our sake it isn't just us. Also a question for anyone who is learnered in the art of punctation...did you all know that there is now only one space after a full stop before the next sentence starts? NO WAY!! The woman must be wrong, please help me and post a response at our forum!!!
Overall our conversations in summary;
Dogs are our most honest and loyal friends (but will only be truely good for food!).
Marriage happens when there's true love and you both know when it's right.
BUT SPELLING AND PUNCTUATION CHANGES!!!!!!

Hi guys my name is Grant and this is the first entry in what is to be many over the coming 5 months leading up to my wedding. I plan on taking everyone with me on this ride that I am on which started on Christmas Day last year when my fiancé accepted my wedding proposal!
My fiancé and I are the force behind WeddingCompare.com, and much of the information contained in this site comes from our experiences so far in trying to organise, plan and celebrate our wedding.
Now I thought I knew how much there is to planning and organising a wedding, but when it is your own wedding and you want it to be the most special day of your life, you only then realise just how much stuff there actually is to consider, research and decide upon. Because lets face it, you want your wedding day to be the greatest day of your life without comparison.
It is for this reason that I decided to create WeddingCompare.com. You can compare absolutely everything weddings, and believe me there is a lot to compare, especially when your fiancé drops 15 wedding magazines on the desk in tears about a wedding dress and there being nothing!
Using advice from my professional friends in the industry and our own personal experiences, this site is still very much in build mode but is growing rapidly. So bookmark and check back often to utilise the many links I have compared. There will be many more links added everyday as well as fresh new reviews and content.
